Family owned and operated by Andy Lovato and his daughter Samantha Weigum, Apela Violins & Guitars  is a unique music store specializing in sales, repair, rental and lessons on all bowed and stringed instruments. Since opening their doors 10 years ago, Apela has been committed to bringing the joy of music to all who desire it by keeping their prices low. At Apela, our love of music can immediately be seen in the level of customer service you  receive. Owner Andy is an accomplished musician with over thirty years of experience playing and repairing instruments. He has a well known reputation for delivering top notch repair work at a reasonable price.

Our goal at Apela is to make learning and playing an instrument as affordable as possible. Our low cost rentals are a great way to experience an instrument before investing in a purchase. In addition, we offer payment plans for those desiring to buy. From the beginner to the most advanced, we have classes fitting your schedule with a no fee cancellation policy. Have an instrument you need to sell? We are also a consignment store.
